New style, New Site, New Stuff

Welcome to my freshly polished corner of the internet!
Like most creative projects, my website has been through many phases — from the “I made this in a weekend on too much coffee” version, to the “let’s just keep adding tabs until it’s basically a filing cabinet” phase.
But now?
I've only gone and given it a full glow-up.
A fresh coat of pixels.
A decluttered menu.
A space that finally feels like me.
And colour, of course!

What's New?
Streamlined navigation — because no one should have to play Where’s Wally with a menu bar. Also it just makes it cleaner and easier to see.
Clearer storytelling — my portfolio, blog, and services are now easier to find (and much prettier to scroll through). Plus check out the colour!
A dedicated space for content creation tips & behind-the-scenes — where I’ll share advice, resources, and the occasional cat cameo. And maybe some other things.
Better accessibility & readability — because good content should be easy for everyone to enjoy.
Why the Change?
I’ve been creating content for years , from playful copy to purpose-driven campaigns. And now my site really needed to keep up with how my work has evolved.
In the last few years, my projects have stretched from dance studio websites to community campaigns to writing about chronic illness (hi, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome crew).
My old site was fine… but it didn’t show the full picture.
This redesign is about making my digital home match my real-life mission:
To create joyful, meaningful content that connects, celebrates, and uplifts.

This wasn’t just a “slap on some new colours” kind of update.
There were mood boards. There were layout debates. There were at least three moments where I nearly named the blog section something ridiculous like “Lorraine’s Brain Rain.”
I kinda liked that but honestly in the end I changed that.
I wanted every detail — fonts, colours, photography — to feel warm, creative, and welcoming.
A place you’d want to stay a while.
