Six months.
Dozens of stories.
Countless joyful moments.
And one powerful purpose: Connection through Creativity.
Yes, after half a year of filming, creating, connecting, and celebrating art in all its glorious forms, The Vision Project – Creative Connections has come to a beautiful close for this year. And oh, what a journey it’s been!

It’s been a privilege to be part of this multi-arts project, backed by the incredible Arts Council England, the national development agency for creativity and culture. Their funding powers artistic projects across the country, bringing creativity into communities that need it most.
I’ve always believed in the transformative power of art in all forms and this project confirmed something I know deep in my bones: art heals.
Whether it's music, movement, dance, painting, or poetry, creativity helps people connect not just with others, but with themselves.
And in that space?

Safe Spaces Through Art & Support
What made this project so special was its intentional care for the humans involved. Each artistic activity was supported by a trained mental health counsellor. This gave every participant a true safe space. Much like a cushion of care where they could pause, reflect, talk, and breathe.
Because art stirs things.
It pokes at pain.
It unlocks joy.
And when you're surrounded by community, held in that experience, it becomes truly life-changing.
We often forget how to "be" as adults , how to play, explore, express. This project gave everyone permission to reconnect with that freedom. And that? That’s priceless.

That trio, it’s my new favourite mantra.
Over 100 people connected through art
The Vision Project brought together more than 100 beautiful humans through the arts — and every single one felt part of a bigger, more meaningful picture.
There’s something deeply fulfilling about collaborating with people who care. Who see the value in beauty, play, healing, and shared experience. This work — this life — is about showing up, being real, and being bold, even when it’s scary.
Because together?
We create greatness.
We create belonging.
We create joy.
